"IMPORTANT CONTACT INFORMATION"
Our Auditorium Restoration Committee is a part of the Omaha Schools Foundation. Since the building is owned by them, they have allowed us to operate separately in our efforts to raise funds. All funds we receive are deposited into a separate account for us, within the confines of the Omaha Schools Foundation account.
It has come to our attention that some of the monies we have received have been deposited into a general account belonging to the Omaha Schools Foundation instead of being credited to our separate account.
It is vitally important that somewhere on your checks, money orders, or whatever you use, that the words "Tech High" be written on it someplace. When donations are sent, or purchases made, unless it specifically indicates it's for Tech High or the Auditorium Restoration Committee, or the alumni newsletter, they have no idea where the funds are to be deposited, so they end up in a general account belonging to the Omaha Schools Foundation, thus we lose that money.
In an effort to help eliminate some of the confusion, the Auditorium Restoration Committee and the Tech Hall of Fame Committees and the Tech Trojan Times alumni newsletter have acquired our own separate Post Office Box.
