John Beasley - 1961
Johnny Beasley graduated from Technical High in 1961. He trained to be an actor with David Suchet, Royal Shakespeare Company.
John is a film, stage and television actor. He has starred with Danny Glover in a TNT movie titled "Freedom Song." He has also starred with John Travolta in "The General's Daughter," and he co-starred with Melanie Griffith in "Crazy in Alabama." It was his performance opposite Robert Duvall in "The Apostle" that allowed John more exposure. John has appeared in over 25 feature films.
John finished work earlier this summer on an HBO film titled "Disappearing Acts" with Wesley Snipes and a CBS film with Della Reese titled "The Moving of Sophia Myles."
John can also be seen in guest starring roles in CBS' new series "C.S.I" and "Judging Amy."
