James J. Dworak - 1943


James Dworak graduated from Technical High in 1943. James was a member of the Omaha City Council from 1957 to 1961. He was also the Mayor of city of Omaha from 1961 to 1965. As Mayor, James was responsible for the development of housing for the aged; instrumental in major golf course construction in Omaha and, he revamped the Omaha Police Communications System.


James attended Michigan State College and Creighton University (in Omaha, Nebraska) where he received his degree.


He is also a graduate of San Francisco College of Mortuary Sciences.


James served during World War 2 as a Flight Officer, a Bombardier and as a Radar Technician.


He is now retired and resides in Los Banas, California.
