Beverly E. Mosley - 1966


Beverly Mosley graduated from Technical High in 1966. The Honorable Beverly e. Mosley is Commissioner, Municipal Court, of the Los Angeles Judicial District.


She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1970. She began her career as an elementary school teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District. In 1974, Judge Mosley entered Loyola Law School and was awarded a Juris Doctorate in July 1977. The following year she became a deputy City Attorney for the city of Los Angeles, California.


In 1984, she joined the Law Offices of Veasey and Gary, one of the first all Black Female Law firms in California. Judge Mosley was appointed to the bench in 1987 and was the first black female appointed Commissioner by the Judges of the Los Angeles Municipal Court.


Beverly resides in Los Angeles, California.
