Dr. Franklin T. Thompson III

Dr. Franklin T. Thompson III graduated from Technical High in 1972. Franklin currently serves as a City Councilman on the Omaha City Council for District 6, and is the Vice President of the City Council. He attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
Franklin also currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. His areas of concentration include Human Relations, Urban Education and Counseling.
He also has the distinction of having taught at Metro Community College, Burke High School and, he also held the position of Director of Diversity at Creighton Prep High School. Franklin has also been an Outpatient Therapist at Eastern Nebraska Commission on Mental Health.
Franklin resides in Omaha, Nebraska.
