John Clark - 1966
John Clark graduated from Technical High in 1966. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1971.
John is the News Director for WOWT Channel 6 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was promoted to that position in 1991. He oversees news operations of 53 people. WOWT newscasts have consistently been the top rated in the Omaha television market.
His career began in journalism in 1972. From 1972 - 1978, he was the Education Reporter for both KMTV and WOWT television stations. John has produced numerous, award-winning documentaries and has coordinated coverage on a variety of major events including all Nebraska football and election coverage.
John as won several major awards including the RTNDA for Investigative Reporting, and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Sports Reporting.
John and his wife, Joyce, reside in Omaha, Nebraska.
