Kathy J. Trotter - 1970
Kathy Trotter graduated from Technical High in 1970. A lifelong resident of Omaha, Kathy attended Lothrop Elem., Tech Jr High, and Tech High. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from UNL, and her Masters Degreee from UNO. She also has a Specialist Degree from UNL. Between work and her community involvement, Kathy is currently working on her Doctorate.
She is currently the Principal of Druid Hill Elementary School in Omaha. Kathy has served as a teacher and Administrator for the Omaha Public Schools since 1973.
Kathy has always been actively involved in community affairs in Omaha. While too many to list, some of her affiliations include the Make-A-Wish Foundation Board of Directors, Concerned and Caring Educations (CACE), Solomon Girls Center, and Educational Options Chair with Girls Incorporated. She currently Chairs the Education Committee of the Urban League's Board of Directors.
Kathy has one daughter, Cassondra; one grandson, London, and one granddaughter, Cidney. She resides in Omaha, Nebraska.
