John Crookham - Tech Teacher


Mr. Crookham received his B.S. from Peru State in 1955. He then received his M.S. from Omaha University in 1958.


John had an illustrious 33-year career with the Omaha Public Schools. He spent 22 years at Tech, from 1962, until the school closed in 1984. He taught Social Studies .. coached track .. and served as Tech's Assistant Principal from 1971 to 1984. Upon Tech's closing, Mr. Crookham was transferred to, and assigned as Assistant Principal at Norris Junior High School. He was then transferred to Norris Middle School from 1984 until 1991.


John is a member of the Omaha Education Association - the Nebraska State Education Association - he served on the Board of NSEA as an Administrative Representative and, he's also a member of the Omaha School Administration Association. He is also a valued member of our Auditorium Restoration Committee.


Mr. Crookham is now retired and resides with his wife, Ramona, in Council Bluffs, IA.
